I’ve recently gotten back into YA after avoiding it for half a decade because of all of the Hunger Games remakes and the Dystopian craze. Dystopian isn’t really my thing. And vampires weren’t back in favor yet. Considering my favorite YA troupes include paranormal and boarding school drama, I was out of luck for a long time.

Not so anymore, dear readers! YA is back in my life and I’m happily gobbling up thrillers like I’m 17 again.

Truly Devious

Ellingham Academy is a famous private school in Vermont for the brightest thinkers, inventors, and artists. It was founded by Albert Ellingham, an early twentieth century tycoon, who wanted to make a wonderful place full of riddles, twisting pathways, and gardens. “A place,” he said, “where learning is a game.”
