Yes, I’m Alive. Yes, it is an Entirely New Year. Hello. Again.

Well, my holidays kicked off with a bang and also kind of drug me underwater like a kraken.

But I’m back, with a vengeance! Or, at the very least, more well rested. So that’s good for everyone. No one wants me cranky and in a reading slump, ranting about nothing on here. Am I right?

Let’s pretend I’m right.

Exciting Book Updates:

  1. I got a whole crap ton of bookstore gift cards for the holidays and you sure bet I spent that money as if they would set on fire and expire at the end of the week. I still have one left for HalfPrice Books, but the Barnes and Noble and Amazon ones are world’s of dead.
  2. This week is Winterween, which, aside from Summerween, is my absolute favorite reading challenge in the world. If you know, you know. If you don’t know…GabbyReads and OliviaReadsALatte from BookTube host this readathon once a year and it’s for those of us who love thrillers, true crime, mystery and suspense. All of the spooky, creepy goodness.
  3. I’ve launched my own BookTube channel! Huzzah! Check out my first video below:

Please consider subscribing or liking my awkward craziness. And hey, now you get to see my face. So yay. I think? Undecided lol. Also, if you want to follow me on Storygraph, check me out at IfBooksCouldKill and we can see what we’re currently reading, do buddy reads, etc.

We’ll be back to our regular scheduled blog posts next week and they’ll continue as per usual. Inane ramblings, ahoy!

Some of my book picks for Winterween this week:

To Tell You The Truth by Gilly Macmillan

The Broken Spine by Dorothy St. James

Mommy IQ by Rosie Pope (Can you guess why this is happening, anyone?)

Brother by Ania Ahlborn

We’ll see if I get through any of these at all or if I go epically rogue?

Keep Reading Book Fam,
