I’m not going to lie, domestic thrillers are where I first gravitated when I was picking thrillers back up again. Probably because there are an abundance of them. Not all of them are great, but there’s a creepy, eerie magic in peering into suburban secrets.
Where we see normal people do horrible things. Or see horrible people do normal things? Shadows and secrets hide behind every facet of humanity. Watching authors bring them out is hella interesting.
Plus, it hits all of my voyeur buttons. Let’s be real.
